This seems like a lot. Do you really have to do that many pages?? Absolutely no!! Do what feels right for you. When I began my scrapbooking journey in 2005, I was told/shown to only use a few pictures and then write about it. Okay. That is what I did. I chose my favorite pictures and wrote a little something.
Fast forward to 2021, my ENTIRE outlook on my pages changed. I had recently lost my grandfather and mother. I realized while looking at pages I had done, that either one or both of those family members were present but their pictures did not show up on the page. Their pictures NEEDED to be on the page too. These little kids WILL NOT remember the event and all the details to include who was there and what they looked like at the time. I HAD to go back and redo many layouts. I didn’t do this because I wanted to to. I did it because I didn’t want these family members to be forgotten about and I want the kiddos to remember them as well.
I end up doing multiple layouts for events. Going to the pumpkin patch for example. Rather than one page that has several random pictures, I now break it out. Picking out pumpkins, hayrack rides, the animals, games, food, etc.
